Certified by an external laboratory Industrial Microbiological Service LTD (IMLS), the surface of the Finsa melamine inhibits the growth or proliferation of bacteria and prevents their reproduction so bacteria age and die. The antibacterial effect is maintained during the useful life of the product. While not a substitute for regular cleaning, this does contribute to cleaner spaces, improve the quality of the indoor environment and prevents the development of infectious diseases.
FINSA has been a pioneer in the manufacture of particleboard since 1931, starting at a sawmill in Portanxil (Ames). SANIGUARD® does not actually kill bacteria, but it does inhibit the growth of the bacteria so remember to use proper hygiene and cleaning procedures.

Suffocate the microbe: silver ions inhibit membrane transport processes.
Starve the microbe: silver ions interrupt cell metabolism.
Sterilize the microbe: silver ions prevent cell multiplication.
